Aaron and Steph Boon
Joseph, Kennedy, Claire, Elliot + Isaya

Aaron and Steph Boon moved to Tanzania in 2012. They first lived in Morogoro and then moved to Dar es Salaam, where they have been living since.

Aaron works as leader of their Grace Mission Team. He helps the team in providing theological training with their Dar es Salaam branch of BTCP/L (Bible Training Centre for Pastors and Leaders). He also works with their team’s company, 100 Fold, in their 200-acre farm intended to provide community development and agricultural training. Aaron is passionate about providing gospel-centered resources and training to local pastors and churches in order to see existing churches strengthened and new churches planted.

Steph is one of the founders of Sifa Collective and is a counselor with The Wellness Community Counseling Centre in Mbezi Beach, Dar es Salaam. The Wellness Community Counseling Centre is a faith-based center which provides individual counseling, family and group therapy, marriage assessments and counseling, and also training seminars for pastors and local leaders who are seeking to provide counseling and soul care in their local churches and communities. Steph is pursuing a PhD in Social Psychology and is a clinical traumatologist and certified social and behavioral researcher.

Aaron and Steph have five children and one beautiful grandchild. Joseph is married to his beautiful wife Martha and they just had their first child in 2023. Kennedy is currently studying at University. Claire, Elliot and Isaya live and attend school in Dar es Salaam. Their home has a constant flow of guests, often young people coming for short and long-term stays. Community, hospitality and discipleship is a large part of their family and the way they live their lives.
