THE STORY BEHIND THE TEAM.

{the reason}  

Our culture teaches the lie that American youth should spend their lives pursuing selfish ambitions, consuming, finding, and loving themselves. But the truth is, we’ve already been found by our amazing Heavenly Father. It is for this reason, as rescued sinners saved by grace, that we prepared to go share that same saving truth with others. 

God has redeemed us for HIS glory and for HIS purpose. For our small group of friends from Grace Baptist Church, Mason Ohio it is doing missions here in Tanzania. What could God do with your next dinner conversations?

{the beginning} 

Our team began as God quietly worked within the lives of individuals and families. It began with a church that was passionate about missions and dedicated to equipping members with a knowledge of God’s Word. In 2008, over many late-night dinners and discussions, lots of coffee, much prayer, and open hearts, our team formed between a group of friends and family. With the elders of our church, we began planning and training, many people came behind us, and God continued to lead. The first part of our team arrived in Tanzania in 2013. Our team now consists of a group of Tanzanian and American co-laborers, working together to start a disciple-making movement across East Africa.
